Methods in Building a Home Based Business
Having great products is one thing, but building a business is another set of challenges in MLM. Sure, they teach you about duplication, calling your family and friends, using the affiliate websites, but the biggest push in recent years is buying leads, including Matol leads.

As I went about my day at the JOB, it was interesting to watch and observe people stressed out, frustrated, and generally unhappy with their circumstances. I see many people striving for that all important job advancement. Those will be the same people complaining at retirement, whatever that really means in today's world. As long as you don't have control over how you live your life, you will always be in essence a slave to the job and the boss. What are the options?
Seriously, you need to start planning by looking to a home based business to develop a residual income outside the job. Think about what that would really mean to you and your family to just have an extra $500 or $1000 per month. For most people, it would make a huge difference and likely avoid bankruptcy for the majority of people.
The likely place for most people for a home based business will be via Network Marketing. There are literally thousands of companies out there today. I will always recommend people stay with established companies. I don't like start up companies for the main reason there's too much uncertainty they could likely go out of business within the first 1 or 2 years.
Many people in MLM struggle to even break even after purchasing their products. Have you ever been caught up in the moment and joined am MLM deal before you thoroughly checked them out? I have talked to thousands of people over the years about home based businesses, some you realize are just MLM junkies that can't help themselves. You know the ones I'm talking about - right? Jumping from deal to deal to try and catch the next big wave to financial freedom. Stop the insanity is all I have to say. There are thousands of companies out there to choose from and you just need to be diligent in which one you team up with. Here's some tips and suggestions prior to joining.
You need to check out and review the company, products/services, compensation plan and policies and procedures. Each company is different and you have to ask lots of questions. Don't be fooled or pressured into joining if you don't want to. Learn the powerful word of "NO". Having been around for the past 10 years in network marketing, I picked up a few valuable lessons along the way.

Go with established companies versus the new companies. If the products or services are good, the company will be around in 2 or 3 years and be better. Don't believe believe about getting in on the ground floor. I really have grown to hate that term and I think it leaves a bad taste in people's mouths. One area that I will focus on today is the policies of companies. Yes, you need to read the fine print prior to signing the agreement form to understand what you are and not allowed to do within the company you are thinking of joining. Building any home based business is a challenging venture to say the least. In traditional MLM companies, you wear all the hats. What I mean, is that you find the customers, distributors, do all the follow up, coaching one on one and then follow up with each one once they have purchased their products or services from the MLM company. Now the work really begins as you need to keep recruiting to find new distributors to promote your business.
In a traditional MLM company, if you don't recruit a certain amount each month, you don't qualify for certain bonuses. In some MLM companies it can be very costly to the distributor as that could mean hundreds or even several thousand dollars in less revenue.
